Hi team,

I just want to make a remark to your assumption that CZ will always need nuclear energy to be energetically sel-sufficient. There are two respected studies, which calculate that it is not neccesary - several years old Chytra energie at http://www.chytraenergie.info/index.php/chytra-energie/publikace and newer Energetická revoluce at http://www.greenpeace.org/czech/cz/Multimedia1/Publikace/Energeticka-revoluce-pro-CR/

They both count with our big potential of energy savings, which is crutial in energetic debate.

Enjoy! Veronika

And now me:

Is 'Teri' Jana?

  • nice, simply-stated foreword and introduction
  • would be good to explain what you mean by 'the mentality of the people' in the Czech context
  • nice comparisons between Austria and the Czech Republic, but like Veronika I'm sure many people would question whether there aren't more alternative scenarios for the Czech Republic. Did you look at her links?
  • excellent to see that you've used and examined some highly relevant information about the potential of alternative sources of energy during the visit to the 'energy road' in Styria; you use this information well
  • good conclusion summarising the most pertinent points of your argument from the main body of text and making relevant comparisons between the two countries

In general, your article is very well expressed with very good use of English. Your arguments are generally sound, although it might have paid to look at other potential energy scenarios for the Czech Republic. It's very pleasing to see how you've made practical use of the information you picked up on the field trip. I can see that you've started to create a good foundation for yourselves for quality academic writing about sustainability in future. Good luck!

Overall assessment: Very Good
