I get your argument about the noise and pollution in the proximity of the sustainable building site at the IBA exhibition, but would these problems truly outweigh the benefits of introducing new 'greener' practices into building design, especially if they're adopted more widely?

I like your highlight topic very much. It would have been good to also include a couple references, particular in regard to the inability of Czech organic producers to sell their products directly to the customer. The Czech government has set targets for the production of organic food products and these are generally being met [http://www.mzp.cz/C125750E003B698B/en/first_progress_report/$FILE/KM-Third_PR_Complete_eng-20090330.pdf Czech SD Strategy Progress Report].

Katerina - you're the only one who undertook your assignments with such diligence and according to our expectations!! Excellent work! And your written English is very good, too - I only corrected some minor problems with grammar and syntax (you might want to brush up on your definite and indefinite articles, but I know they're the hardest thing to learn). I appreciate that you've taken the opportunity to critique some of the information you received, although it would have been good also to provide some evidence for your arguments ;) Why exactly do you believe Germany has an "unrealistic expectation" in its efforts to produce energy from 100% renewable sources by 2050 (2060?)? It's already managed to phase out its nuclear power plants to date without affecting the overall energy production of the country. Why would pursuit of renewable energy the German way be an "immoral practice" and why would it trigger world wars? It would be good to have more information. Wasn't the main role of the sheep on the Luneburg heath to produce manure for fertilising fields for food production, rather than keeping the grass short? I get your argument about the noise and pollution in the proximity of the sustainable building site at the IBA exhibition, but would these problems truly outweigh the benefits of introducing new 'greener' practices into building design, especially if they're adopted more widely? I like your highlight topic very much. It would have been good to also include a couple references, particular in regard to the inability of Czech organic producers to sell their products directly to the customer. The Czech government has set targets for the production of organic food products and these are generally being met; see Czech SD Strategy Progress Report.

Thanks very much again. We enjoyed having you with us and we wish you the very best for your future studies and career! Andrew
