Hi girls - well, the first two-thirds is very hard to follow because the English is not so good this time; it looks like some Czech text has been Google-translated...so I'm not so sure what half of it is saying and it was impossible to correct, but much of it is a summary of what Herr Tiffner said (needs more critiquing!).

The last third was much easier to read and correct. It was good to see some commentary about the current situation and the influence of the upcoming elections. It was also good to see a reference made to the mining limits in North Bohemia, but I'm not so sure about what the influence of the limits should be on the Paskov mine; to me, the threat of closure hanging over Paskov is related to other issues like the mining company's perceived economic value of the mine and the current price of coal, rather than its environmental impact. More explanation of your argument is needed!
In the end, I appreciate that you completed the two assignments; the difficulty with the second one shows that it needs to be written during or soon after the field trip while everything is still fresh in your memory ;)
All the best
Andrew
