It's interesting that Czech Switzerland was only granted national park status so recently. It would have been good to add something about it's status or history up until then, plus an explanation of where it is in the Czech Republic, a link to the national park website, and some pictures. Information about how many national parks there are in CZ in total and their management (especially in Sumava) would also have been beneficial :) The information about Gesause National Park more or less repeats what Lucie wrote in her diary entry, but I realise your English limits how much you can write. | |||
It conclusion, it's not a bad effort and it would indeed be mutually beneficial if there could be stronger ties between Czech and Austrian national park management and education programmes. Clearly Czech NPs lack the financing to establish the sophisticated educational programmes and interactivity, both physical and virtual, that their Austrian counterparts have. Given the level of acknowledgement of climate change and nature preservation in the Czech Republic, do you think NPs could play an important part in educating the local population about global issues like Gesause does? | |||
