Day 3: Set out on a minibus to Most where we stopped at the headquarters of Czech Coal a.s. to be picked up by a big four-wheel-drive truck, which took us on a guided 'safari' of the Czechoslovak Army coal mine. Had lunch back in Most and got back to Hora Svate Kateriny around 3pm. The Deputy Mayor of Horní Jiřetín came to visit us at 4pm and talked to us about the issues of exceeding the mining limits around his town, including a fascinating commentary on what occurs during local municipal elections.
