Prof. Dr. Gerd Michelsen
Gerd Michelsen is Head of the Institute for Environmental and Sustainability Communication at the University of Lüneburg. He was a joint founder of the Institute for Applied Ecology in Freiburg i.Br. He is the German representative in the UNECE Task Force “Strategy for Education for Sustainable Development”. He is also a member of the UNESCO National Committee for the decade of “Education for Sustainable Development”. Since 2005 he holds the UNESCO-Chair “Higher Education for Sustainable Development”.
